I’m a Nanny with Two Young Charges

I’m a nanny. My responsibility is a one year old toddler and three year old active boy. The little guy is super adorable but it does tire me sometime chasing him around the house. I put him in his crib once a while though I hate to put an active bubbly boy into his personal cage. He wasn’t exactly happy about it either. Fortunately, my employers had gone through baby monitor reviews before having their kids.

So in the boy room, near his crib is a video and audio baby monitor. In his baby sister room also has the same device. I could be with the boy when he is playing in the yard and also watch the baby in her room at the same time through the device. And if I needed to prepare other things like their bath water or their food, I could put the boy in his crib and goes around my other chores. At the same time with a portable monitor I could be alert on my two young charges.

Being a nanny is not easy but I’m glad my employers know how to make my job a lot easier.

My New, Sweet, Adorable, Baby Brother

My mother is currently pregnant with a baby boy who will be my brother. Under those maternity clothes, he’s developing every hour, every day. The moment I heard I was immediately happy, excited, and panicked. I kept on thinking we have so much to do! We then started preparing before my mom got too tired. We shopped, painted, and bought clothes. I was so hapy I was able to be a part of preparing for him. I love to feel the baby kick because it fills you with the joy of actually knowing that it is in there. Whenever my mom says she can feel him I come running. It is amazing to see my mothers belly to keep on getting bigger and bigger. My mom says the only thing that she doesn’t like is that she keeps on getting weighed down and her stomach keeps on getting in the way. She says she is always tired and giving birth is very painful, but the joy of having a baby in your arms is worth it all. I still think that having a baby sounds too painful, but I will most likely want a little bundle of joy when I am older. That is why I am excited for my new baby brother.

The Shock of My Life

I felt like I had no time left to figure out such things as what the best double strollers were, the moment I found out that we were going to have twins late in my wife’s pregnancy. I felt like the room was spinning whenever I found out the news, and I think my wife saw a look of fear and distress in my eyes, which is why she grabbed my hand and that instantly helped to bring the to reality. I had just been laid off from my job couple of months before hand, and was already stressing out about having to pay for a new baby, so the news that we were having twins really hit me hard in the gut. However, my wife and I got through these turbulent time, and our twins have really been the biggest inspiration and joy in my life ever since they were born several years ago.

The thing about getting dolls clothes for all the ones in your collection, it can really be quite an expensive expenditure. This is why I started learning how to make outfits for my dolls many years ago, and it has really taught me a great many things about how to put together wardrobes and fashion accessories. It also has taught me how to sew and stitch, which is something that I always wanted to learn. I would like to someday translate these skills to making clothes for myself, and perhaps starting my own line of clothing. However, it is much more difficult to create say a sweater for a doll, then it is for an actual person. But I know that this is a great start for me, and I am hoping that the more I learn about making these pretend clothes, is that I will someday help me be able to pursue my fashion design dream.

Getting Toys for My Daughter

My daughter woke me up the other day, and asked me if we could go to the store and buy some baby dolls toys, for the doll I had just bought her for Christmas. I wasn’t too thrilled with the thought of this, because my daughter is the type who wants to buy everything in the store. I told her that I would only take her, and she agreed to only pick out three accessories for her doll, and that would be that. When we got to the store, she was giddy with excitement and started putting a number of things into our cart. I gave her a stern look and reminded her about our little talk. I was waiting for one of her temper tantrums, but was pleasantly surprised when she said that she remembered. She then mulled over her choices in the cart, pick out four like we had talked about, and put the rest on the shelf. It was one of the proudest moments I had of being a father.

Business And Scrabble: My Favourite Games Of My Childhood Days

During my childhood I used to play a lot of games. I was more interested in indoor games than outdoor. Outside I used to play only cricket. I had a lot of board games in my childhood days. They include Business, Chess, Snake and Ladder, Scrabbles etc. Out of this my favourites were ‘Business’ and ‘Scrabbles’. The game ‘Business’ is also known as ‘Monopoly’ in other parts of the world. It is a game of selling, buying, mortgaging etc. There can be any number of players for this game. The best thing about the game is that it does not have an end. We can play as much time we want. The winner is the one with maximum property and minimum debt at the end of time. The currency used in the game were made of plastic. One who buys a property can buid house, hotel etc on that so that the one who visits that property should pay a high amount as rent. It was an interesting game but to think deeper and improve vocabulary ‘Scrabble’ was my next choice. It is a game of words. Letters made of plastic is used to build words in the board. Upto four players can play at a time. Using the proper word at the right time gives more points and helps to win the game!
